The name SYNKHRON RECORDS is derived from the word “synkhronos” which is the latin root of the word “synchronization”, which is fundamental to the core concept of house music and its rhythm. In house music, synchronization refers to the precise alignment of beats, grooves, and rhythms, ensuring a seamless and cohesive musical flow. Additionally, it reflects the artistry of DJs, who skillfully synchronize tracks to create a harmonious blend. The late latin/greek word “synkhronos” is combined by the words “together” (syn-) + “time” khronos (chrono-). Which is the essence of the label, people spending time together and connecting through the tunes of house music.
